Project Youth Presentations

Youth PresentationsEach presentation is approximately 45 minutes to one hour in length. The following are topics that we can address during our assembly-style or small group presentation:

  • Bullying and Cyber-bullying
  • Tobacco
  • Alcohol, Prescription Drugs and Illicit Drug Trends
  • Internet and Technology Safety
  • Eating Disorders
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Self-Esteem Workshops for Boys and Girls
  • Healthy Peer-to-Peer Relationships (Safe Dating)
  • Trauma Drills
  • Safe Driving

Each presentation is tailored to be age-appropriate to the group, and will include positive reinforcement activities to help strengthen decision-making habits. We believe preparing and empowering children early will place them on a positive track which will lead to healthy decisions.

Our presentations are divided into the following six age groups including parents: Kindergarten - 3rd grade; 4th - 6th grade; 7th - 8th grade; 9th - 12th grade; and College+.

In addition to educating school-age children, we feel that parents also should become aware of what their child has learned during a MASK presentation, which is why we encourage you to also consider scheduling a follow-up presentation for parents. MASK parent presentations elaborate on the subject matter and provide prevention tactics and conversation starters. (Due to some mature content, parent presentations are strictly for parents).

Topics are tailored appropriately by grade level, and include positive reinforcement activities to help strengthen decision making habits. Parent presentations elaborate on subject matter and provide prevention tactics and conversation starters.

Testimonials

"Thank you to MASK for your professional and informative presentation on bullying. You have shared with the MOMSnext at La Casa de Cristo, necessary information so we can recognize and better support our children through any bullying situation they may encounter. Your age appropriate conversation starters enable us to begin having the conversations to empower our children for their future. We look forward to future presentations from your organization so together we can engage, educate and empower more." -Michelle Hayes, MOMSnext

"MASK was an integral part of our Red Ribbon Week Event at Desert Trails Elementary School. The students learned a lot about dangers of prescription drugs from MASK staff and could be heard talking about what they learned later that day. Our thanks to MASK for the time and energy they put into the event to make it a success."
–Michelle Pabis, VP of Programming
