MASK (Mothers Awareness on School-age Kids)
is a non-
profit 501(c)(3) focused on assisting parents on the broad set
of challenges that families face. MASK’s mission is to educate
both parents and children on the issues facing our youth today
and to empower children to make safe, healthy choices.
MASK has aligned with experts
to increase awareness for schools,
parents and children from kindergarten
to college. MASK addresses a wide-
range of topics, from drugs and alcohol
to bullying and Internet safety. With
no family being immune from these
issues, MASK believes that the key is
to educate both parents and children,
so when issues do arise, they will be
prepared and equipped to deal with
them. MASK is dedicated to bringing
awareness programs, free of charge, to
our communities, large and small.
Why MASK The Magazine?
In our time-deprived society, how do parents keep up? MASK
recognizes that awareness and prevention begin at home,
and should be reinforced within schools and the community.
MASK The Magazine
conveniently brings
a comprehensive approach to educating
families on the severity and risk factors of
tough issues facing our kids today. It will
explore them in-depth, and highlight “what
it looks and feels like” in elementary school,
middle school, high school and college.
The magazine will also provide awareness
and follow-through with prevention tactics
and conversation starters for families.
MASK The Magazine
will prepare
and equip families with knowledge,
resources and decision-making
skills to empower parents and youth
to make safe, healthy choices.
